There have been all kinds of neat special events that we’ve featured in the last couple of weeks, both in and outside college campuses. Lately, the Scottish Games and Star Trek Convention are two of the more unusual events that have graced the Ithaca Times pages. Last week, our own star intern Byard Duncan sat down with illustrator and author James Gurney, whom you may know as the author of the bestselling book ‘Dinotopia.’ Gurney recently spoke at Ithaca College’s Emerson Suites as the featured keynote speaker for this year’s conference for the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators.
