[...] We’re about to head out for the weekend. Tonight, the good folks of Flipped Out Records are hosting a show at their Burnt Hills headquarters over in Albany. Burnt Hills will take the stage with Bill Nace (of X.O.4, Northhampton Wools, Vampire Belt) and Harrius (which is Jenny Graf Sheppard of Metalux and Chiara Giovando, pictured above, who we have seen perform with Daniel Higgs). I’m really looking forward to this lineup, and especially curious to see Harrius live! You can buy one of their records over at Forced Exposure or Flipped Out. More info at Ithaca Experimental. We’ll be doing an interview with Bill Nace, which we’ll post later next week. Flipped Out also has a nice selection of Bill Nace-related projects, including an intriguing collaboration with Jessica Rylan, titled Vampire Can’t (I have recently extolled the virtues of Rylan here).
